Therapy is a collaborative process.

I believe therapy should feel like a deep and rich conversation. I am not the type of therapist who only sits and listens.

I support my clients, most of whom self identify as women, in: managing anxiety and perfectionism, reevaluating unwanted habits and ways of coping, building communication skills and boundaries to help relationships thrive, making big life decisions around priorities and desires for the future, and navigating difficult transitions.

Over the course of our sessions, we’ll have an open dialogue about your emotions, thoughts, and relationship dynamics. To support our work, I’ll call on mindfulness, self-compassion, attachment, CBT, and wellness coaching, while bearing in mind cultural and societal context.

We'll work together to understand more clearly what’s going on for you, through both a focus on the present, navigating tough moments in your life, and an eye on the past and how deeper patterns and early relationships and experiences can play into current difficulties.

As your self-awareness increases, so will your ability to make different choices that move you closer to equilibrium.

How much do you charge?

My fee is $175 for a 50 minute session. I always reserve a few slots for “sliding scale” clients, based on income and financial need, between $125-$165.

Do you accept insurance?

While I do not bill insurance directly, I encourage you to see if your plan offers any reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services. I can provide a statement of services for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Do you offer virtual video sessions?

Yes! I am currently working exclusively online, and can see clients anywhere in California via Zoom.

How often will we meet?

We will meet for 50 minutes once a week. Progress in therapy depends on your commitment to yourself and the process. Coming to therapy consistently and frequently are important for establishing trust and creating a strong foundation for change.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.  If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, please let me know more than 24 hours before our appointment, or you will be responsible for the session fee.

What is Integrative Psychotherapy?

Integrative therapy combines elements from different types or styles of therapy. As an integrative therapist, I “integrate” two or more therapeutic styles to support a customized, personal approach to healing.

Integrative therapy can also refer to the process of “integrating” all parts of the self into a cohesive whole through acknowledging and addressing disowned or repressed aspects of self.
